SCRIPTURE READING: 1 SAMUEL 17: 1-53
FOCUS: “Now the Philistines gathered together their armies to battle, and were gathered together at Shochoh, which belongeth to Judah, and pitched between Shochoh and Azekah, in Ephesdammim.” (1 Samuel 17: 1)
MEMORY VERSE: “Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.” (Psalm 35: 1)
Our Focal Scripture, being the first verse of 1 Samuel 17, begins with the mention of the Philistines and how they gathered against Israel. What was meant to be a new chapter began with the mention of the enemies’ activities. The activities of the enemy became the introduction of a new chapter. It seemed that the enemy took the lead in what was meant to be a new chapter. The enemy became the signpost of a new chapter.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: no new chapter of your life will be signposted by the activities of the enemy. No new season of your life will be led and tele guided by the enemy. No new journey of your life will have the enemy at the forefront of it. No new thing that the Lord is bringing your way will have the enemy in front of it. No new opportunity that is coming your way will be led by the enemy. No negativity will take the lead.
Hear me as I hear the Lord: no power of hell will take the lead in your activities. No power of hell will take the lead in your family. No power of hell will take the lead in your business. No power of hell will take the lead in your ministry. No power of hell will take the lead in the works of your hands. No power of hell will superintend over the new chapters of your life. No power of hell will make a mess of whatever the Lord has begun in you.
If there be any area of your life where the enemy was previously in charge, today I decree, his tenure has ended. I bring an end to every satanic rule over any facet of your life. I bring an end to every siege the enemy has laid in any area of your life. I bring an end to every evil reign of the enemy in your life. Today, I decree that you have broken free from every snare the enemy laid on your path. The structures of hell are broken for your sake.
The Lord is your beginning and your end. The enemy will never take the lead again in matters of your destiny.
