SCRIPTURE READING: MARK 10: 46-52

FOCUS: “And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.” (Mark 10: 46)

MEMORY VERSE: “Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.” (Psalm 102: 13)

Our Focal Scripture sheds light on the timeline of the miracle of Blind Bartimaeus. Jesus was on His way out of Jericho, when He came in contact with Bartimaeus and healed him. His time in Jericho was up; He was done with what He came for; He was on His way to other matters; His mission in Jericho was about to be closed, when He backtracked and healed Bartimaeus. It seemed that the time was over, but the miracle of Bartimaeus came forth.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: even when it seems that the time for your opportunities is already past, God will cause it to come your way. Even when it seems that chapters have been closed concerning your expectations, you will still carry your evidence. Even when it seems that it is too late for a miracle to happen, it will still happen. Even when it seems that your result is no longer feasible, it will still come forth.

The miracle of Blind Bartimaeus did not come as soon as Jesus arrived at Jericho; it came when Jesus was on the way out. It came when it seemed that it would no longer come. It came when it seemed that Bartimaeus was not the priority. It may seem that you are not on God’s priority list, but you are about to carry that miracle that will change your story. It may seem that the likelihood of change is slim, but it will still happen.

No matter what men are closing on, and no matter how unlikely it already seems, you will enjoy the fulfillment of your expectations. Before it ends, you will have your answer. Before the chapter is closed, you will make progress. Before the arrangement is closed, your name would be on the list of favoured ones. Before the process is over, you will be remembered. Before the first half of 2026 is over, you will have your miracles.

Never give up because time seems far spent. If God be for you, chapters that are about to close will still deliver your evidence into your hands.
