SCRIPTURE READING: MATTHEW 20: 1-16
FOCUS: “And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?” (Matthew 20: 6)
MEMORY VERSE: “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him…” (2 Chronicles 16: 9)
In our Focal Scripture, the householder went forth and met another set of labourers standing idle. The day was almost over and they had been idle. The day was almost over and they had not found anything to do. The day was about to end and they were yet to earn. Literally, there was not enough time for them to still earn, but the householder showed up and they got a last chance. It may have been late, but they were finally remembered.
Friend, it may seem late in the year for the expectations you came out with to be fulfilled, but the eyes of El Roi are still open and fixed in your direction. It may seem too late for that miracle you desire; it may be too late to expect the fulfillment of your prayers; it may seem too late for things to align in your favour; it may seem unrealistic for your goals for 2024 to still come to pass given that you may not have had a great start.
Hear me as I hear the Lord: the God who specializes in turning up even when it is the eleventh hour will turn up for you. El Roi has His eyes set on you, and no matter how late it seems, he is turning up for you. Your miracle may seem too late to still happen, but El Roi has it all figured out. Your breakthrough may seem too late already, but it will still happen. Your miracle may seem like it is past time, but it will still come through El Roi.
By the mighty hands of El Roi, you will not miss your season. You will carry your evidence. You will still testify that you have seen the God that sees you. You will testify that the God of the eleventh hour has turned up for you. Whatever seems like it is past time will still happen by the hand of God. Whatever seems like it will no longer work will still work. Whatever expectation that seems impossible will still become possible.
Welcome to that season where the God of the eleventh hour will show up for you mightily beyond your expectations. Welcome to that season where the God of the eleventh hour will make your expectations to come to pass.
