SCRIPTURE READING: LUKE 15: 11-32
FOCUS: “And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.” (Luke 15: 20)
MEMORY VERSE: “Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.” (Ephesians 5: 14)
While the prodigal son was still a great way off, his father saw him and went all the way to meet him. He was still far away when his father saw him and went for him. While he was still in a far country, his father didn’t see him, but when he changed his posture and his position, his father saw him and there was alignment. He changed his posture and there was alignment. He changed his posture and everything aligned.
Friend, this is that season where you must change your posture to align with God’s plan for your destiny. Change your posture from that of settling in your comfort zone to taking steps that will usher you into your next season. Change your posture from laziness to diligence. Change your posture from passive to active. Change your posture from retrogression to advancement. Stop moving back to your past and align with your future.
The prodigal son was initially committed to staying in a far country where all he could even desire, was the meal meant for pigs; but when he changed his posture and focused on the way back home, even his father saw him and went for him before he could arrive. What he needed became easy when he changed his posture. Check your current posture; does it make your advancement easier or more difficult? Does your attitude encourage your rising to the next level?
Sometimes, how far you go, or how far you fail to go, is tied to your destiny posture. Change every posture that is not in alignment with your rising and advancement. Put away every posture that will not let you become all that God wants you to become. Let your posture be in line with the tomorrow you desire. Let your posture be in line with the future you seek. Let your posture align with the will of God for your life.
Remember, when the prodigal son changed his posture, his father saw him and there was alignment. Change every posture that is not in alignment with your rising. Take up a new posture in line with the agenda of heaven for your life.
