SCRIPTURE READING: MATTHEW 13: 24-30
FOCUS: “Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:” (Matthew 13: 24)
MEMORY VERSE: “The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.” (Psalm 16: 5)
In our Focal Scripture, Jesus told a parable of the kingdom, wherein a man sowed good seeds in his field. A field is the opportunity that the seed has in order to grow. A field is the seed’s opportunity. Notice that while in the field, the seed begins by being in the soil. The opportunity of the seed is not seen ordinarily. It is hidden and shielded from the heat of the sun, and from birds of the air. The opportunity of the seed in the soil, is ordinarily unseen.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: the opportunities that God is sending your way, will be hidden from the eyes of men. The opportunities that God is sending to you in this season, those that want to take it away from you will not even see it, talk more of hijacking it. The opportunities that God is bringing your way, will not be scuttled or stolen. The opportunities that God is bringing your way, will be kept away from wicked eyes.
When a seed has grown enough within the soil and begins to sprout, it is no longer as tiny as when it was only a seed. It grows and comes forth, before the haters and hijackers have an idea what is going on. Hear me as I hear the Lord: before the wicked eyes of your enemies have time to see your opportunities, it would have been too late for them to change anything. Before they see your opportunities, it would have sprouted.
I pray for you: may the opportunities that are coming your way be kept away from the eyes of hijackers and contenders. May the opportunities coming your way be kept away from the eyes of those who want to destroy it before it yields results for you. May the opportunities coming your way be too hidden for your adversaries to even notice. May the opportunities coming your way be so unnoticeable until you have taken it in full.
Welcome to your season of shielded opportunities. Welcome to your season of opportunities that cannot be taken by your rivals and competitors.
