SCRIPTURE READING: 1 SAMUEL 17: 1-53

FOCUS: “And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.” (1 Samuel 17: 35)

MEMORY VERSE: “And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship.” (Acts 27: 22)

In our Focal Scripture, David told Saul about how he went after the lion and the bear that came for his father’s sheep. David disclosed that he went after the wild animals, and delivered the sheep out of their mouths. The sheep had already entered the mouths of the lion and the bear, but David was not prepared to lose his sheep, and he went after the lion and bear and took back his sheep. David did not allow his sheep to be lost.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: nothing will be lost under your watch. Your ‘sheep’ will not be taken away by the lions and the bears of this world. Your results will not be taken away. Your opportunities will not be taken away. Your portion will not be taken away. Your greatness will not be taken away. Your breakthroughs will not be taken away. Your rising will not be taken away. Your help and helpers will not be taken away.

Notice that the sheep did not just fall off from the mouths of the lion and bear. David was intentional to go after the lion and the bear to take back his sheep that had been taken away. He took back his portion deliberately. Don’t sit back and allow the lions and bears to take your sheep away. Go after them and take back what is yours. Confront whatever that has come to plunder your territory, and take back whatever the enemy stole.

The scripture speaks about when a thief is caught, and is made to restore sevenfold. So a thief is expected to be caught. Whatever thief that has crept into your territory and destiny, I decree, receive grace to intercept them and take back your portion. Whatever the enemy has positioned to deplete your territory, I command a recovery. Whatever has come to steal from you, I decree, let there be full restoration and recovery.

I decree, your destiny will not suffer loss. The works of your hands will not suffer loss. Whatever the Lord has put in your hands will not be taken away by the enemy.
