SCRIPTURE READING: 1 SAMUEL 30: 1-20
FOCUS: “And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.” (1 Samuel 30: 8)
MEMORY VERSE: “The LORD will hold your hand, and if you stumble, you still won’t fall.” (Psalm 37: 24 CEV)
In our Focal Scripture, God promised David that he would ‘without fail’ recover all. The word fail is the root word for ‘failure’. So God promised David that in the recovery plan, there would be no failure. God promised David that there would be no failure in the process. David was going to follow through a process that would give him major results, and by divine proclamation, failure was excluded from the process. There was to be no failure.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not fail. There will be no failure in your journey. There will be no failure of the promises of God upon your life. There will be no failure in your health. There will be no failure in your career, business, family, finances, ministry, vocation, marriage, etc. There will be no failure is your projects. There will be no failure in your efforts. Your plans will not fail. Your opportunities will not fail.
God decreed that the journey of David will be without fail. Failure was taken out of the equation of David’s journey. Hear me as I hear the Lord: failure will not be a part of your journey. By the mandate of heaven, you will succeed and not fail. You will hit the targets you set out to hit. You will gain the results you set out to gain. You will make the impact you set out to make. You will get to your desired destination.
Hear me as I hear the Lord: failure will be far from you. You will never be an example of one whose journey stopped on the way. You will never be an example of one whose results were incomplete. You will never be an example of one whose efforts failed, without results. You will never be an example of one who did not hit the right targets despite efforts. You won’t be an example of failure. Your success will not be exchanged with failure.
The doors of success are open to you. The doors of failure are shut and will remain shut.
