SCRIPTURE READING: ACTS 16: 16-39
FOCUS: “And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers,” (Acts 16: 19)
MEMORY VERSE: “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (1 Corinthians 6: 20)
Our Focal Scripture speaks of how Paul and Silas were taken to the marketplace, unto the rulers. Because of the termination of the operations of the spirit of divination, the masters of that damsel who was demon possessed took Paul and Silas to the marketplace. A marketplace is a place of exchange and transaction. So, they were taken to a place where they could be exchanged. They were taken to where they could be sold.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your destiny will not be sold to the enemy. Your destiny will not be exchanged. You will not be an item in any demonic transaction. You will not be numbered amongst them whose lives were traded by the enemy. You will not be counted amongst them who moved from exploits to captivity. You will not be counted amongst them whose impact and greatness made way for bondage.
I pray for you: your destiny will not be exchanged. Your portion will not be exchanged. Your results will not be exchanged. Your influence will not be exchanged. Your greatness will not be exchanged. Your congratulations will not be exchanged. Your rising will not be exchanged. Your opportunities will not be exchanged. Your glory will not be exchanged. Your destiny placement will not be exchanged. Your favour will not be exchanged.
If there be powers that exchange the destinies of great men, I decree, you are not their candidate. Powers that say that you will move from exploits to bondage, I decree, they will not prevail. Every power of the enemy that says you will be a commodity in the marketplace, I decree, they will not prevail. Powers that want to make you a victim in the marketplace, I decree, their plot will not stand. You will not be a victim of rulers in the market.
What is meant for you will not be exchanged. You will not be a victim in the marketplace. You will not move from exploits to bondage.
