SCRIPTURE READING: LUKE 8: 43-48

FOCUS: “And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,” (Luke 8: 43)

MEMORY VERSE: “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.” (Joel 2: 25)

Our Focal Scripture tells the tale of Luke’s account of the story of the woman with the issue of blood. According to Luke, this woman had spent all her living on physicians. She spent all her money servicing a sickness that refused to leave. She spent all her money to service negativity. She was stuck in a challenge that simply ate all her resources. She faced a challenge that impoverished her. Her finances serviced negativity unending.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not service negativity with your resources. You will not be impoverished by negativity. You will not lose all your money trying to solve problems that will simply refuse to be solved. You will not spend all you have chasing shadows. It will never be said that you encountered a challenge that pauperized you. It will never be said that one challenge came your way and emptied your purse.

This woman would have started spending money, thinking that she was spending her way out of her challenge, only for her resources to be completely finished while she was still in the challenge. She began making efforts that seemed like they would make a difference, but it was not long before her efforts proved to be a waste. I pray for you: your money will not be wasted whilst chasing solutions that will never come.

Powers that have come to waste your resources and cause you to be impoverished, I decree, that their time is up. The days of spending without results, is over. The days of spending till you are fully spent, yet without results, are over. The days of making a mess of your finances because of affliction, are over. The days of being made poor in the cause of fighting battles, are over. The days of losing your wealth to afflictions, are over.

Welcome to that season where you will not service negativity with your resources. Welcome to that season where you will not be impoverished by challenges.
