SCRIPTURE READING: MATTHEW 13: 24-30
FOCUS: “Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:” (Matthew 13: 24)
MEMORY VERSE: “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” (James 2: 17)
The man who sowed good seed in our Focal Scripture, sowed them in his field. The word ‘field’ as used in that scripture, comes from the Greek word ‘agros’ which is interpreted to mean ‘a cultivated land’. So this man sowed his seed in a ground that he had cultivated. The ground was ready before he sowed his seed. The readiness of the ground was not going to prepare a harvest by itself; action (seed) needed to be taken.
Friend, there may never be new season accomplishments until you realize that your readiness must be accompanied with actions. Your readiness per time must be accompanied by the actions you must take. Your readiness for your next level requires you to take action. Your readiness for increase requires you to discern actions you need to take in order to get to your increase. There are actions to take while being ready for more.
The fact that the field existed, did not mean that things will grow therein on their own. The fact that the ground is ready, does not mean that anything will grow on its own except it be planted. Readiness in itself will not change anything if you fail to take action. Being ready for big levels means nothing, if you fail to take the right actions. Being ready for wealth means nothing if you cannot at least take actions that will birth the wealth.
It’s time to start taking actions that will birth your harvest. Start investing your time wisely. Start using your resources rightly. Start bringing new ideas into your vocation. Start doing something about your dreams and visions. Start pushing your efforts in the direction of the results you expect. Start positioning yourself rightly for the huge results you desire. Start working for the positive outcomes you want to see in your life soon.
Remember, readiness is nothing without actions. Your field will remain empty until you plant what will birth a harvest.
