SCRIPTURE READING: LUKE 8: 26-39
FOCUS: “(For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.)” (Luke 8: 29)
MEMORY VERSE: “Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” (Isaiah 66: 8)
Our Focal Scripture speaks of how efforts were made to put chains and fetters on the man who was possessed by unclean spirits. Each time he was bound, he broke the bands and went into the wilderness. People chained him in a place where they could lay hold on him, but he broke the chains and went into the wilderness where they couldn’t reach him. Whenever efforts were made, the bondage took a new dimension beyond the reach and efforts of those who were obligated to help.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every plan of the enemy to complicate your issues whenever you make efforts to put them under control, I command it to scatter by fire. Every plan of the enemy to complicate your issues whenever you make efforts to resolve them, I decree, it will not continue. Every plan of the enemy to make you take actions that will put your challenges beyond the reach of your efforts, I command it to cease now.
The more people chained the man with unclean spirits, the more he journeyed into the wilderness. The more they made efforts to keep him within reach, the more he went beyond their reach. Every satanic pattern that wants to keep your expected results beyond your reach, despite your efforts, I decree, it ends now. I decree an end to every negative cycle of efforts without results. I decree an end to complications after efforts.
I pray for you: your efforts will not be fruitless. Your efforts to make progress will not leave you empty handed. Every effort you are making to gain the result you need, I decree, it will be fruitful. Every effort you are making to stem the tide of negativity around you will be fruitful. Every effort you are making to break away from your current predicament, I decree it will be fruitful. Every effort for your progress will lead to real progress.
The cycle of efforts without results is broken. The cycle of complications arising from honest efforts, is broken.
