SCRIPTURE READING: MATTHEW 9: 20-22
FOCUS: “20. And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: 22. But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole…” (Matthew 9: 20, 22)
MEMORY VERSE: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” (Jeremiah 29: 11)
The person who was said to have an issue of blood in our Focal Scripture, was a woman. She was not just a damsel; she was a woman. She had reached a stage where there would be societal expectations, of marriage, having children, etc. Notice that when she came to Jesus, He called her daughter. She came to Jesus, and He took responsibility like a Father over. She came to Jesus, and He took charge to do for her what she couldn’t do.
Friend, if you have come to Jesus, then be ready to have Him take responsibility for you. Jesus will make happen for you, what you cannot make happen for yourself. Jesus will open the doors you cannot open by yourself. Jesus will clean you up and give you a fresh start. Jesus will cause lines to fall to you in pleasant places. Jesus will grant you favours you would have been unable to attract to yourself by yourself.
When Jesus takes charge, the impossible becomes possible. When Jesus takes charge, He causes you to cease from endless labours and enter into rest. When Jesus takes charge, He brings mind blowing wonders to you. when Jesus takes charge, He makes it obvious that His hand is on your life. When Jesus takes charge, He causes an unprecedented turnaround in your fortunes. When Jesus takes charge, everything is changed.
The season of being responsible for yourself, is over. Jesus has taken charge. Concerning the challenges you are facing, Jesus has taken charge. Concerning the unknown tomorrow, Jesus has taken charge. Concerning the new levels you seek to attain, Jesus has taken charge. Concerning the doors and gates that need to open to you, Jesus has taken charge. Jesus has taken charge of your life, and nothing will go wrong.
Welcome to that season when El Roi will take charge of everything that concerns you. Welcome to that season where El Roi will be fully responsible for you.
