SCRIPTURE READING: EXODUS 1: 15-21

FOCUS: “And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.” (Exodus 1: 16)

MEMORY VERSE: “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (1 Corinthians 6:20)

In our Focal Scripture, Pharaoh sought to use the Hebrew midwives to achieve the wickedness of killing the male children of the Hebrew women. These midwives were skilled, they understood the job of bringing forth children from their mother’s womb; and Pharaoh sought to use their skills to commit wickedness. Pharaoh wanted to use what they could do, to advance wicked intents. He sought to use their skills to achieve negativity.

Friend, never let the devil use your skills. Never let the devil use what God gave to you. Never let the devil use your beauty. Never let the devil use your communication skills. Never let the devil utilize your talents to advance anti-kingdom agenda. Never let the devil turn your capacity into his weapon. Never let the devil make you his messenger by reason of your capacity. Never use your wealth to work negativity.

If God gave it to you, don’t let the devil make it a tool for his wicked intents. If God gave you that job, never let it become a platform for negativity. Never allow your God-given platforms to become tools for the enemy. Never allow the doors that God opened for you, to become gateways for satanic agenda. Never allow the good news that God brought your way to become a basis to lead others into sin and unrighteousness.

The Hebrew midwives were caught in a place where their skills were needed for negativity, but they chose to use their skills to protect the male children of Israel. They used their skills to advance kingdom agenda. Use your skills to advance kingdom agenda. Use what God gave to you to advance kingdom agenda. Use your wealth to push the kingdom forward. Use your influence to push the kingdom forward. Use what you have to please God.

May it never be said that you always used what God gave you in the negative. May it never be said that you used what you got from God to work against God.
