SCRIPTURE READING: REVELATIONS 12: 1-16
FOCUS: “And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.” (Revelations 12: 2)
MEMORY VERSE: “For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” (Psalm 30: 5)
Our Focal Scripture speaks of how the woman who was clothed with the sun, cried and was in pain, because she was about to bring forth a child. This woman was in pain, but her pain was linked to a child that was to come forth from her womb. She was in pain, but her pain was about to be replaced with the joy of birthing her own child. She was in pain, but her pain was about to make way for congratulations. Her pain was to bring her joy.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every pain you are currently going through will make way for your congratulations. Every pain you are currently going through will make way for joy and gladness. Every pain you have suffered in time past will be replaced with dances and celebrations. Everything that brought you bitter tears will eventually cause you to lift up holy hands in thanks to God. Your tears will make way for good news.
That woman was clothed with the sun, and she had the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head, and although she began in tears, she birthed her child eventually. She was clothed in glory, and she moved from pain and tears, to her good news. When the glory of God is upon your life, every pain will eventually birth your joy. When the glory of God arises upon your life, your pain will be a harbinger of joy and good news.
Once the glory is upon your life, no matter how painful events may become, you will eventually end in joy and gladness. When a woman is delivered of her baby, she forgets the pains she went through. Hear me as I hear the Lord: by the glory of God upon your life, every pain is about to lead to a season of joy; and when your joy comes, it will wipe out all the memories of whatever you went through before entering into joy.
Your glory season is here; every pain is making way for a season of great joy.
