SCRIPTURE READING: MATTHEW 9: 20-22
FOCUS: “But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.” (Matthew 9: 22)
MEMORY VERSE: “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” (Hebrews 11: 6)
In our Focal Scripture, Jesus told the woman who had been with the issue of blood, that her faith had made her whole. So, in her journey to wholeness, her faith was a major ingredient that made wholeness possible. In her journey to her new season, her faith made the impossible to become possible. In her journey to the place of her congratulations, her faith was the bridge she crossed. Her faith opened the door of her wholeness and new season.
Friend, faith will open the doors of your new season. Faith will connect you to results beyond the expectations and calculations of men. Faith will take you to heights that doubt never believed in. Faith will cause the impossible to become possible. Faith will position you to receive from God. Faith will position you for divine remembrance. Faith will oil the wheels of divine intervention. Faith will unlock your new season.
The unit of faith is belief. As you knock on the doors of heaven, what do you believe? As you come to God with expectations, what do you believe? Do you believe that Jesus truly paid the price for your redemption? Do you believe that the life of God is inside of you, and that you can call things that be not as though they were? Do you believe that the doctor’s report can be turned around at the mention of the name of Jesus?
God’s ability is sacrosanct, but your faith is the only variable in the equation. Why not start to believe God? Why not start to trust in God and His word? Why not come to God believing that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him? Why not come to God with the confidence that He is able to complete whatever He already started in your life? Why not come to God in faith, instead of doubt?
Dust up your faith. No matter the fears, move in faith. Believe God implicitly and totally. Believe God for the impossible. Don’t let the enemy reduce your faith.
