SCRIPTURE READING: 1 SAMUEL 30: 1-20
FOCUS: “So David went, he and the six hundred men that were with him, and came to the brook Besor, where those that were left behind stayed.” (1 Samuel 30: 9)
MEMORY VERSE: “Jerusalem, your city walls will be rebuilt by foreigners; their rulers will become your slaves. I punished you in my anger; now I will be kind and treat you with mercy.” (Isaiah 60: 10 CEV)
Our Focal Scripture speaks of that moment when David arose to chase after the Amalekites. David did not go alone; he was accompanied by six hundred men that were with him. David was about to pursue, overtake and recover all; he was about to achieve the mandate for which heaven had given him approval, and he had the support of men who were ready to fight his battle. He had the blessing of men willing to help him fulfill his dream.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: may you receive the blessing of men who believe in your dream and help you fulfill it. May God send you men who will see your goals and help you achieve it. May God send you men who will see the targets you want to hit and help you to hit same. May God send you men who will see the doors you need to open, and help you open same. May God send you men who will help you win.
In the journey of life, there are men who like and believe in your vision, but lack the capacity to add value to it or make it a reality. Notice that for David, the men did not only believe in his vision; they also had capacity to fight to make it a reality. I pray for you: may God send you men who both believe in your vision and also have capacity to make it a reality. May God send you men who have something to offer your vision and mission.
In the month of June, may men like the men of David locate you. May men who are willing to sacrifice everything to see you succeed, locate you. May men who are ready to shelve their tears to see you smile, locate you. May men who are willing to brace up and fight for you arise and locate you. May the Lord send you men who will stand by you in the battles of life. May the Lord send you men who will journey with you to greatness.
Welcome to that season where heaven will send you men who believe in your dreams and have capacity to work it till it becomes reality. Welcome to that season where heaven will bless you will useful supporters.
