SCRIPTURE READING: 1 CORINTHIANS 16: 8-9
FOCUS: “For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.” (1 Corinthians 16: 9)
MEMORY VERSE: “Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.” (Isaiah 60: 11)
Apostle Paul in our Focal Scripture tells the tale of how a great and effectual door was opened unto him, while in Ephesus. Paul was initially met with needless contention in the previous chapter. He was met with contention in the same Ephesus that he wanted access to. Thereafter, contention made way for open doors. Where he initially fought to enter into, great and effectual doors were opened to him. The gates of the city opened to him.
There are gates that govern cities. There are gates that govern expectations. There are gates that determine who gains access into a land. There are gates that determine who gains access into certain privileges. There are gates that control high places. Some men are literally the gate keepers at certain gates, and you may never enter in except they open the gates for you. Life is controlled by gates, and men at the gates.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your gates are open. The gates of cities are opened to you. The gates of nations are opened to you. The major financial gates you seek are opened to you. In places where you have been seeking access, access has been granted to you. The gates of impact and influence are opened to you. The gates of your career are open to you. The gates of your business are open to you. The gates of ministry are open to you.
I pray for you: as you show up, gates will not be locked against you. As you show up, you will be granted access. As you show up, the people who said no to others will say yes to you. As you show up, the land will work in your favour. As you show up, what was not done for others will be done for you. As you show up, you will receive good measures, pressed down, shaken together and running over. As you show up, everything will align.
Welcome to that season when your gates will be continually open. Welcome to that season when access has been granted to you. Welcome to that season where you will not be locked out.
