SCRIPTURE READING: MATTHEW 28: 1-15
FOCUS: “He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” (Matthew 28: 6)
MEMORY VERSE: “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” (Romans 8: 11)
Our Focal Scripture speaks of that moment when the Angel of the Lord told the women at the sepulcher, that Jesus had risen. After being crucified and put in the grave, Jesus rose again. Despite the stone that was placed to fortify the grave and stop Him from emerging, He rose again. Despite arrangements that were made to stop Him from coming out of the grave, He came forth. The stone that was used to block Him, could not stand God’s power.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: the same way Jesus arose from the grave, you are rising from every grave where you have been stuck in. You are rising from every affliction from the pit of hell. You are rising from the defeats that kept you down. You are rising to your high places. You are rising from the dust of shame and disgrace. You are rising from chains and bondages of the enemy. You are rising from where the enemy kept you.
Those who crucified Jesus kept soldiers at the sepulcher, and used a great stone to cover the sepulcher, but that was not enough to stop Jesus from rising. If there be men who have made arrangements to ensure that you don’t rise, remind them to improve on their arrangements if they wish, but you will still rise. Even if they are hanging around to see how you will rise, before their very eyes, you will rise and rise again.
It was the power of God that raised Jesus from the dead; and the arrangements of men could not stop His rising. When the power of God is involved, you will rise despite the human or satanic arrangements made to keep you at a spot. As they arrange to keep you in the grave, God will also arrange to bring you forth. The arrangements of men to keep you down can never supersede the power that raised Jesus from the dead.
Get set to rise in those places where the enemy arranged to keep you down; get set to rise by the same power that raised Jesus from the grave.
