SCRIPTURE READING: 1 KINGS 21: 1-29
FOCUS: “And Naboth said to Ahab, The LORD forbid it me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers unto thee.” (1 Kings 21: 3)
MEMORY VERSE: “But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;” (Psalm 103: 17)
In our Focal Scripture, Naboth disclosed that his vineyard was an inheritance from his fathers. It was not necessarily that he labored for it; it came to him as an inheritance from his fathers. There was an overflow of what the fathers had, to the extent that it was enough to remain for Naboth. There was an overflow of what came to the past generation, and it overflowed to the next generation. It was a case of generational blessings.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you are in your season of generational blessings. Your joyful days shall be generational. Your good news shall be generational. Your increase shall be generational. Your congratulations shall be generational. Your open doors shall be generational. Your greatness shall be generational. Your relevance shall be generational. Your wealth shall be generational. Every good thing God began in your life shall be generational.
Naboth was meant to hand over the vineyard to his next generation the same way he received same from his fathers. The good thing that began with the fathers was not meant to end with Naboth. Hear me as I hear the Lord: whatever good thing the Lord has begun in your life will not end with you. If God began it with you, it will flow down to your next generation. If God has begun to help you, He will also help your next generation.
Powers that say your blessings will not be generational, I decree, let fire answer. Powers that say your greatness will end in your generation, they lied, they will not prevail. Powers that say your relevance will end with you, I decree, they will not prevail. The greatness that has begun in you will be even greater in your next generation. The high places you attained will be a foretaste of the high places your children will attain.
Welcome to your season of generational blessings. Welcome to that season where every good thing the Lord has begun in you will flow down to your next generation.
