SCRIPTURE READING: REVELATIONS 12: 1-16
FOCUS: “And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:” (Revelations 12: 1)
MEMORY VERSE: “And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:” (John 17: 22)
Our Focal Scripture speaks of the woman who appeared as a wonder in heaven, and who was clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of stars on her head. 1 Corinthians 15 vs. 41 says: “There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory”. So, this woman showed up in glory, radiating all the lights that God Himself made.
Friend, you are clothed with the glory of God. As you show up, the glory of God will be made manifest through you. As you show up, the glory of God on your life will cause you to shine brighter and brighter. As you show up, you will be called the example of one who showed up with the glory of God. As you appear in glory, negativity will melt away. As you show up with glory, whatever is not of God will make way.
In John 17 vs. 22, Jesus speaks of how He has given to us the glory that God gave Him. If you have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus, then you are a partaker of the glory that God Himself gave to Jesus. You wear the glory of God as a garment. You wear the glory of God as your real identity. As you show forth with the glory of God, men will see God through your life. Men will witness God’s glory and goodness through your life.
In the ministration of death, there was so much glory to the extent that the children could not behold the face of Moses; but there is a higher covenant in Christ, that causes us to behold His face and be transformed in to the same image from glory to glory. In Christ, we walk in the ever-increasing dimensions of the glory of God. In Christ, we put on the glory that does not fade away. In Christ, we are partakers of the glory of God Himself.
Welcome to your season of greater glory. Welcome to that season where you will be clothed with the glory of God.
