BRING YOUR ATMOSPHERE

SCRIPTURE READING: LUKE 8: 41-56

FOCUS: “And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.” (Luke 8: 51)

MEMORY VERSE: “But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:” (2 Corinthians 3: 7)

Our Focal Scripture speaks of how Jesus arrived at the home of Jairus with Peter, James and John. Jesus went with some of His disciples. Jesus was about to raise the dead girl back to life, and He went with the disciples who were partakers of the life and mandate that He carried. Men are carriers of atmosphere. So, Jesus went with the people who had the atmosphere He desired for the miracle to happen. He went with His own atmosphere.

Friend, as you move, go with your own atmosphere. Go with men who carry the same kind of atmosphere that you carry. Go with men who inhale and exhale the power of God. Go with men who radiate the presence and glory of God. Go with men who kindle the fire of God in and around you. Go with men who speak the same language of faith that you speak. Go with men who believe God as you do. Go with your atmosphere.

Atmospheres incubate outcomes. The spiritual atmosphere around you will determine what happens or what cannot happen around you. The atmosphere of faith around you will determine if you will move from prophecy to fulfillment. The atmosphere of prayer around you will incubate the supernatural. Whatever atmosphere you maintain around you will determine what will be birthed in your life. Your atmosphere will determine your portion.

Jesus eventually drove away the people who were in the home of Jairus before He raised his daughter from the dead. They showed up with no belief in what Jesus could do, and He pushed them away. They came with the atmosphere of doubt, and Jesus sent them away. Don’t allow any negative atmosphere around you to become your own atmosphere. If they come with an atmosphere that negates the power of God, cut them off.

Welcome to that season where you must be intentional to walk in faith and with the right atmosphere. Welcome to that season where you must go with your own atmosphere.
