SCRIPTURE READING: MATTHEW 9: 20-22

FOCUS: “For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.” (Matthew 9: 21)

MEMORY VERSE: “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” (Luke 1: 37)

In our Focal Scripture, the woman with the issue of blood had said within herself that if she could touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, she would be made whole. Notice that Jesus was already being followed by multitudes. Everyone had heard that there was a man who could heal the sick and raise the dead and even forgive sins. This woman, despite knowing that there would be a crowd, believed that she would touch Jesus, and she eventually did, and was made whole.

Friend, even when everything seems impossible, think possibility. Believe that your expectations can become reality despite the facts or evidence to the contrary. Believe that you will walk into your miracle. Believe that you will attain the heights that currently seem impossible. Believe that your doors and gates will open irrespective of those who are against you. Believe that you will hit your targets no matter how impossible it seems. Believe God for the impossible.

Someone who may have become frail as a result of her affliction, could have chosen to give up because there would be a crowd, but she just wouldn’t give up. She had facts suggesting impossibility, but she chose to believe. Even when there are facts suggesting that you are surrounded by impossibilities, look beyond the impossibilities and believe God to make them possible. Even when surrounded by impossibilities, see possibilities.

Did you notice that when this woman decided within her that she would touch the hem of Jesus’ garments, she actually came to where He was and touched His garment and was healed? What she said within her became reality in a matter of time. She chose to see possibilities, and she moved from impossibility to possibility. If you choose to see possibilities, you will experience possibilities and carry your evidence.

Welcome to that season when you must continue to see possibilities in the midst of impossibilities. Be intentional to see possibilities, and they will become your reality.
