SCRIPTURE READING: MARK 2: 1-12

FOCUS: “Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?” (Mark 2: 9)

MEMORY VERSE: “4. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. 5. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.” (Psalm 2: 4-5)

When Jesus declared that the sins of the paralyzed man were forgiven, even before saying that the man should rise, take up his bed and walk, some scribes disputed the words of Jesus. The paralytic man could not speak for himself; he could not defend himself; he could not help himself; and there were people already speaking against the early sign of his miracle. Jesus eventually took the responsibility to silence the opposers.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: for every voice that arises to speak against you, God Himself will silence them. God will silence your opposition. God will silence every satanic voice that wants to scuttle His divine agenda for your life. God will scuttle every group of naysayers that are lending their voices against your interest. God will silence every voice that wants to stop your help and helpers from reaching you. God will stop your opposers.

That paralytic man was on the brink of his healing; he was on the brink of a new season; he was about to receive something huge from Jesus; but the scribes wouldn’t just let him receive his healing in peace. Hear me as I hear the Lord: when those negative voices arise, El Roi will answer them. When you cannot fight for yourself, El Roi will fight for you. When you cannot speak for yourself, El Roi will speak for you.

God will answer to every conspiracy that is being cooked against you. Every opposition against your advancement and your rising, God rebukes them. Like those scribes that opposed the miracle of the paralytic man, they may oppose you but they will never succeed. They may struggle to put you down but they will never succeed. As surely as the Lord lives, whatever voices that arise against your rising will be shut down by God.

Welcome to that season where El Roi will tread down your opposition. Welcome to that season where your opposers will be divinely silenced.
