SCRIPTURE READING: MATTHEW 28: 1-15
FOCUS: “And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.” (Matthew 28: 2)
MEMORY VERSE: “The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them.” (Micah 2: 13)
After Jesus was buried, Pilate ordered that guards be kept on the door of the sepulcher, and the sepulcher sealed with a stone. They made arrangements, believing that their arrangements would be enough to stop Jesus from rising. They made arrangements to stop the King of Kings and the Prince of Peace from rising from the dead. They made arrangements to stop Jesus’ rising, but Jesus rose despite the guards and covering on the sepulcher.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: no matter the arrangements the enemy has made to ensure that you do not rise, I decree, you will rise. No matter the satanic gatekeepers that have been positioned to stop you, you will still break forth on all sides. No matter the wickedness that has been planned to hinder your new season, I decree, you are marching forward. No matter how your haters plan against you, you will still advance.
The stone was still there, and the guards were still there, yet Jesus arose from the dead. The presence of the wicked arrangements did not stop His rising. Hear me as I hear the Lord: no matter the arrangements that are in place, and no matter the satanic gatekeepers that are in place, you will still rise. You will still be chosen despite the haters. You will still be preferred despite the haters. You will still break out on all sides no matter the gatekeepers.
Jesus did not go to the cross so that you will be hindered by the arrangements of mere mortals. Jesus did not pay the price so that you will be stuck in the same rot for a long time. If God be for you, nothing will hinder you. If God be for you, no hater will stand in your way. If God be for you, no arrangement of hell will stop the plans of heaven for your life. If God be for you, the arrangements will still be there, yet you will rise like never before.
Welcome to that season where your rising will never be hindered. Welcome to that season where every gate locked against you will be open.
