NO WASTER

SCRIPTURE READING: REVELATIONS 12: 1-16

FOCUS: “And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.” (Revelations 12: 5)

MEMORY VERSE: “The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:” (Isaiah 62: 8)

In our Focal Scripture, the child that was brought forth by the woman that faced the dragon, was caught up to God and to His throne. The dragon was already sitting pretty, waiting to devour the child; but God went ahead of the dragon and took the child away from where he could be devoured. God did not allow the child that the woman brought forth, to be devoured by the dragon. God did not allow the result of that woman to be consumed.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your results will not be consumed. Your harvest will not be consumed. The product from your efforts will not be consumed. You will not plant and your harvest will be devoured by the enemy. You will not suffer to bring forth and the enemy will make you end up empty-handed. You will not be counted amongst them who had their children devoured by the enemy. The enemy will not feast on your result.

The dragon wanted to eat the child of that woman as soon as it was born. The dragon wanted to consume God’s blessing upon the life of that woman as soon as it came forth. Hear me as I hear the Lord: what is yours will not be devoured by the enemy. Powers of hell that have arisen to waste and devour your portion, I decree, they will not prevail. Powers of hell that say you will labour while they consume, they will not prevail.

That woman did not labour with the pain of pregnancy and child bearing, only for the dragon to consume her child as food. She did not labour in vain. She did not labour to satisfy the wishes of the enemy. I pray for you: it will never be said that your labours merely entertained the enemy. It will never be said that you laboured and the enemy took the proceeds of your labour. You will never labour in vain.

Welcome to that season where your portion will not be devoured by the enemy. Welcome to that season where your results will not be meat for the enemy.
