NO CONTRADICTION

SCRIPTURE READING: LUKE 8: 41-56

FOCUS: “And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus’ feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:” (Luke 8: 41)

MEMORY VERSE: “Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.” (Isaiah 50: 10)

In our Focal Scripture, Jairus who was said to be a ruler of the synagogue, came to Jesus and besought him that he would come into his house. Jairus had a daughter who was at the point of death. Someone who was a ruler in the synagogue, had a situation of death in his home. Someone who proclaimed the name of God in the synagogue, had a situation in his home mocking the very God whose name he proclaimed.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every satanic contradiction the enemy has set up in your life, I decree, it ends now. I decree an end to every arrangement of hell that says you will look like a mockery of the God you serve. I decree an end to every satanic verdict that wants to expose you to public ridicule. I decree an end to every circumstance that is inconsistent with your walk with God. I decree an end to darkness.

Jairus led from the front in the synagogue, yet he faced an attack in his home that wanted to negate the very substance and essence of his service to God. Something that was not of God came his way to ridicule his position as a leader in the temple. Hear me as I hear the Lord: whatever has come to ridicule your walk with God, ends today. Whatever battle that has come to make men mock you for your walk with God, ends now.

It will never be said that you served God, yet death ravaged your house. It will never be said that you served God, yet negativity found a seat in your domain. It will never be said that you served God, yet the gates of hell prevailed over you and yours. It will never be said that you served God, yet situations that mocked your walk with God overtook and prevailed over you. It will never be said that you served God and shed bitter tears.

The same God who sets an end to darkness has set an end to every darkness that has come to mock your walk with Him. No longer shall it be said that you served God, yet remained in darkness.
