SCRIPTURE READING: LUKE 15: 11-32
FOCUS: “And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.” (Luke 15: 16)
MEMORY VERSE: “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” (1 Peter 2: 9)
When the prodigal son expended all that he got from his father, he went and attached himself to a citizen of the country who had a herd of swine. He desired to eat from what the swine was fed with, but no one gave to him. He accepted his reduction to the level of eating what was meant for swine, but his request was rejected. He accepted destiny reduction, but no one cooperated with him. He wanted less, but he didn’t get it.
Friend, you need to celebrate every rejection that came from places that sought to devalue your destiny. Reject every downgrade of your destiny. Reject every suggestion of the enemy to have you accept what your destiny has outgrown. Refuse to go back to the same levels you ought to have left. Refuse to readmit elements of your past that are not needed in your future. Refuse every suggestion to become less than God’s design.
You may need to start thanking God for everyone who said no to you when you felt you needed a yes. Thank God for those who refused to feed you with what was meant for swine. Thank God for relationships that did not work and for jobs you did not get. Thank God for the doors that did not open. Thank God for the people who vehemently refused to give you a chance to be less. Thank God for those who shut you out of destiny reduction.
You deserve better, and part of God’s creative design for your destiny advancement is to have men reject you from accepting what God didn’t design for you. You have a higher destiny, there is a next level for you, there is a better place in God for you, and men will reject you from options that heaven does not want for you. You are not swine, and you cannot consume what was meant for swine. You are were made for more, not for less.
I pray for you: you will not go below your destiny mandate. You will not be accepted in places that will work against the mandate of heaven for your life.
