SCRIPTURE READING: LUKE 8: 26-39
FOCUS: “Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.” (Luke 8: 35)
MEMORY VERSE: “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” (Psalm 23: 3)
In our Focal Scripture, when those who came to see what Jesus had done in the life of the demon possessed man, they found the man sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind. This same man had been in the tombs; he had been driven into the wilderness by the demons; he had been in chains; but when Jesus sent the demons out of him, he was in his right mind. Restoration happened in his inner man.
Friend, I pray for you: may the Lord restore your inner man where it has been tampered with. May the Lord restore your soul. May the Lord restore your senses aright. May the Lord restore your focus. May the Lord restore your intellect. May the Lord restore you from within. May the Lord cause a restoration of who He originally made you. May the Lord cause your mind to be renewed. May the Lord cause you to return to normal.
The only way a fully grown man could dwell in the tombs, walk around naked, and even journey into the wilderness was because he was out of his right mind. His mind was not functioning well, and he was tossed around by the devils that took possession of him. I pray for you: may the Lord cause your right mind to be restored. May the Lord take away every negativity that is resident in your mind. May the Lord cause your mind to think right.
May the Lord take away every dysfunctionality in your mind. May the Lord cause every bitterness in your mind to be rolled away. May the Lord cause every satanic stronghold in your mind to be broken. May the Lord cause every depression in your mind to be broken. May the Lord cause every cloud of darkness the enemy has put on your mind, to be broken up. May the Lord cause every hurt that is in your mind to be healed and made whole.
It is the intention of Jesus that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. Your soul has escaped out of the snare of the fowler. Your soul is restored. Your mind is sound.
