FOCUS: “And the men of Israel said, Have ye seen this man that is come up? surely to defy Israel is he come up: and it shall be, that the man who killeth him, the king will enrich him with great riches, and will give him his daughter, and make his father’s house free in Israel.” (1 Samuel 17: 25)

MEMORY VERSE: “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” (Romans 8: 19)

In our Focal Scripture, some soldiers in the army of Saul were in a conversation about what would be done for the man who kills Goliath. According to them, the king would enrich any man who killed Goliath, give him his daughter as wife, and make his father’s house free (of taxes) in Israel. These soldiers had information about the benefit of killing Goliath, but they didn’t participate in killing him. They had stories but had no evidence.

Friend, don’t reduce destiny to storytelling. Don’t be that one that knows about results but does not participate in gaining the results. You are a participant in destiny. Step out and do what God has given you capacity to do. Step out and hit those targets you have been speaking about. Step out and make that impact that God has ordained you to make. Step out and break those limits that those ahead of you have failed to break.

The men in our Focal Scripture kept speaking about what would be done for the man who kills Goliath, but they never succeeded in killing Goliath. They had stories but no evidence. I pray for you: may you never be a mere storyteller in destiny. May you not be a spectator when other men are carrying their evidence. May you not be counted amongst those who knew what could be done but had no capacity to get it done.

You belong to a generation that is waiting for your manifestation. You belong to a generation that wants to see what God already deposited in you. You belong to a generation that wants to have you release the potentials and capacities that heaven has planted in you. Arise like one with capacity to win. You were born to win. You are destined to win. You are designed to win. You are built to win. You are empowered to win.

The time for your manifestation has come. Don’t be counted amongst them that are more interested in telling the stories of how others made it. Rise to the occasion and manifest your God-given capacity.

  • I refuse to be a spectator and a storyteller in destiny; I step out to hit my targets, in Jesus’ name!
