SCRIPTURE READING: LUKE 8: 26-39
FOCUS: “And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.” (Luke 8: 30)
MEMORY VERSE: “He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.” (Psalm 46: 9)
In our Focal Scripture, upon being asked what their name was, the demons in the man at the tombs responded by saying they were a legion. In bible times, one significant dimension of the legion formation, is that while some soldiers in the legion were sent forth to fight, some were left behind as reinforcement. Some soldiers could be sent, the opposing army would exert all their energy, only for reinforcement to arrive out of nowhere.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every satanic system that produces battles for you to fight again and again, I command those battles to end. Every satanic reinforcement waiting to show up against you, I command them to go down by fire. I command every stronghold of the enemy that releases battles for you in batches, to be scattered. I command every satanic reinforcement waiting to fight you, to go down by fire.
I pray for you: battles that are waiting to meet you after the current battles you are fighting, I decree, let them be scattered from on high. Battles that are waiting to take over from your current battles, I decree, they will not succeed. I command every battle waiting in your future to cease. I command every trouble the enemy is cooking for your future to expire now. I command every negativity waiting in your tomorrow to cease.
Today, I decree, the days of demonic reinforcement are over. The days of battles coming after battles, are over. Every reinforcement waiting to happen in your tomorrow, I command it to scatter by fire. Jesus did not redeem you so that you will move from battles to battles. Those that are regrouping to fight you again, will prepare in vain. Those that want to send you new battles will not prevail. No demonic reinforcement will succeed.
No longer shall it be said that you moved from one battle and entered into another battle. No longer shall it be said that you arrived at the future and found battles waiting for you. If they are currently reinforcing, I decree, their reinforcement is broken.
