DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY PASTOR JERRY EZE – 10/02/2024
SCRIPTURE READING: PSALM 23: 1-6
FOCUS: “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23: 1)
MEMORY VERSE: “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” (2 Corinthians 1: 20)
In our Focal Scripture, David speaks of how the Lord is his shepherd, and that he shall not want. By David’s assertion, the Lord being his shepherd created a situation where he shall not want. David’s revelation was about how the Lord was his shepherd, and his reality was that he was not in want of anything. His revelation created his evidence. His revelation did not leave him empty handed. His revelation came with results.
Friend, I pray for you: may your revelation of God create pleasant realities for you. May your revelation of God cause your life to look like what you know about God. May every revelation you have of God cause you to have undeniable results. May every revelation you have about God influence your realities positively. May your knowledge of God become your reality. May your knowledge of God recreate your identity positively.
May your revelation of God as a healer cause you to be healed from every infirmity. May your revelation of God as one who sets before you an open door, cause your doors and gates to be flung open. May your revelation of God as the lifter of your head cause you to be lifted ahead of your rivals and contemporaries. May your revelation of God as One who raises the poor from the dust cause you to be raised from the dust and set on high places.
It will never be said that your revelation of God mocked your reality. It will never be said that what you know about God is completely different from your realities. It will never be said that what you know about God is not reflecting in your life. What you know about God will become your evidence. The word of the Lord concerning you will be your evidence. The word of the Lord will orchestrate new realities for you.
The season when your life is bereft of the manifestations of the word of the Lord concerning you, is over forever. I decree, every revelation you have about God will become evidence and create your realities.
