SCRIPTURE READING: MATTHEW 20: 1-16
FOCUS: “Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.” (Matthew 20: 12)
MEMORY VERSE: “Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” GOD’s Decree. “Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once- and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.” (Amos 9: 13MSG)
In our Focal Scripture, the men who were hired early in the day protested that the last set of men, who were hired in the eleventh hour, had only worked for one hour and got paid. Others worked for the whole day to get paid, but those hired in the eleventh hour worked only for one hour and got the same result as those who worked all day. In one hour, everything changed for these eleventh-hour employees. In one hour, results came.
Friend, God is about to give you a testimony of how everything changed in one hour. In one hour, your story will change, and unexpected results will come your way. In one hour, you will move from rejected to accepted. Things will happen so fast that your head will swim. God will cause you to have a speedy turn around that sounds like a lie. You will be hired at the eleventh hour and paid at the twelfth hour.
These men had been long in the marketplace without results, but when it was their time and their turn, one hour was enough to make all the difference. In one hour, they earned what others who began early in the morning earned. Hear me as I hear the Lord: in a short while, you will achieve the same results that those who began long before you achieved. In a short period, you will hit the targets that seemed impossible to hit.
Get set: this is that season where God will shorten the time for the results you seek. This is that season where God will make everything to align in your favour within a short period. This is that time when you will have results that others waited so long to have. This is that season when your answers will come speedily. This is that season when time will be shortened for your sake. This is that season when time will be compressed for your sake.
It won’t be long, before God makes you smile with results that took your contemporaries way more time to achieve. Welcome to that season where your answers will come speedily.
