SCRIPTURE READING: MATTHEW 2: 1-18
FOCUS: “And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.” (Matthew 2: 4)
MEMORY VERSE: “And it shall turn to you for a testimony.” (Luke 21: 13)
Our Focal Scripture speaks of how Herod gathered the chief priests and scribes of the people together, to demand information about the birth of Jesus. Herod would eventually get this information and forwarded same to the wise men. So, despite being an evil king who dispensed wickedness to his generation, Herod brought something good to the wise men. Something good came out of a negative situation.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: something good will come out of every negative situation that is currently surrounding you. Good news will come forth from your Herod. Good news will come from the same places that ought to give you bad news. The conspiracies of men against you will turn to you for a testimony. The wickedness of men against you will bring forth your rising. Negative situations will give you positive experiences.
Herod was wicked and evil, but he eventually became the source of the information that helped the wise men to achieve their aim. He was not the type of person to produce good results, but he became the source of a major result for the wise men. Hear me as I hear the Lord: from the same men that are called wicked and evil, good news shall arise for you. From the Herod’s of this world, heaven will give you major answers.
The heart of kings is in the hands of the Lord, and He turns them in whatsoever direction He pleases. If God be for you, every Herod will become a messenger for your destiny advancement. If God be for you, every Herod will turn around to work in your favour. If God be for you, the kings of this world will become channels for your new season and next level. If God be for you, Herod will seek out what you need and give same to you.
Welcome to that season where the Herod’s of this world will become messengers of your destiny advancement. Welcome to that season where good news shall arise out of every negativity around you.
