SCRIPTURE READING: LUKE 19: 28-40
FOCUS: “Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.” (Luke 19: 30)
MEMORY VERSE: “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.” (Isaiah 30: 21)
In our Focal Scripture, Jesus told His disciples to go and fetch the colt that was tied. The colt was not just going to be untied and left on its own. It was not going to be untied and allowed to determine its own direction. It was not going to be untied and allowed to stray into wherever it desired. It was untied and led to where it was needed. It was untied and directed to the very place where Jesus wanted it. It had the help of direction.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: receive help for direction. Receive help to move in the direction that God has determined for your destiny. Receive help to move in a direction that will lead to fulfillment of prophecy. Receive help to move in the direction that will position you rightly in destiny. Receive help to move to the persons and places that will add value to your destiny. Receive help that will give you the right direction.
If the colt ended in the wrong direction, it could have missed out on the prophecy that was laid upon it. It would have missed the chance to be relevant under Jesus. It would have missed the chance to fulfill destiny. It would have missed the chance for the destiny upgrade it got under Jesus. I pray for you: in matters of destiny, may it never be said that you missed your way. May it never be said that you went in a direction that wreaked your life.
I also pray for you: may you be far away from men that will attempt to take you in the wrong direction. May you be sensitive to discern when the enemy is luring you to the wrong direction. May you be sensitive to distinguish between the path you need to be in and the path you need to stay away from. May you be sensitive to discern between your path and the path of the enemy. May you never lose your right direction.
Welcome to that season where you will have help to move in the right direction. Welcome to that season where you will no longer miss your right direction.
