SCRIPTURE READING: LUKE 1: 5-25, 57-66

FOCUS: “And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying,” (Luke 1: 24)

MEMORY VERSE: “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” (2 Corinthians 4: 7)

When Elizabeth conceived, she hid herself for five months. Eventually, when it had become a six-month old pregnancy, the angel Gabriel announced to Mary that Elizabeth had become pregnant with a great child. God caused Elizabeth to be pregnant with a child, and the same God caused the news of what He had done in her to be announced. It was not a mere empty announcement; it was an announcement of what heaven had done.

Friend, glean some wisdom: God always eventually announces what He has done. What the Lord has done cannot even be covered. Whatever the Lord is doing in your life will eventually lead to a divine announcement that will draw the attention of men. That intimacy that God is building between Himself and you will announce you to your generation. That prayer fire He has put in you will cause you to be announced.

At some point, you may need to worry less about a divine announcement and worry more about what the Lord is actually doing in you. Worry more about the man you are becoming under God. Worry more about the strongholds of negativity He is breaking down in you. Worry more about the growth He is orchestrating in you. Worry more about the divine deposits in you that will bring forth the divine announcement you seek.

If heaven has not yet announced you, just maybe, you are not yet carrying what heaven wants you to carry. If heaven is yet to make you famous, just maybe you have not become who you were wired to become. God will not plant a seed in you and will not announce it. God will not allow you to have private encounters with Him and not announce you. God will not allow you to go through the journey of growth and not announce you to your world.

Ask God to plant godly seed in you that will lead to divine announcement. Ask God to grant you the favour of carrying divine deposits.
