SCRIPTURE READING: 1 SAMUEL 17: 1-53
FOCUS: “This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.” (1 Samuel 17: 46)
MEMORY VERSE: “As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.” (Romans 4: 17)
In our Focal Scripture, David declared that he would cut off the head of Goliath, and give the carcass of the entire Philistine army to the birds of the air and wild beasts of the earth. The fight between Goliath and David was yet to begin, but David was already declaring what would happen in the end. Before the battle began, David declared how it will end. Before the battle began, David used his words to create the end he wanted to see.
Friend, I am aware that your ‘battles’ may not even have begun, but be deliberate to declare how it will end. Declare how your results will end. Declare how your mission will end. Declare the end you desire for that challenge that has besieged you. Declare the end you want to see in 2024. Declare the end you want to see in your finances. Declare the end you want to see in your journey. Declare how you want your processes to end.
David was yet to start fighting Goliath, but he had the wisdom to declare the end before the battle began. He orchestrated the end he wanted by speaking it. He spoke his preferred end into being. Be deliberate to speak your preferred end into being. Don’t leave your end to chance. Don’t allow your results to come by mere happenstance. Speak what you desire to see ahead of time. Proclaim your results even before they arrive.
Today, I join my faith with yours, and I decree that it has ended in praise; it has ended in celebration; what may have seemed destined to bring you bitter tears will turn around and bring you tears of joy; what may have ended in pain for others, will end in joy for you; what may have ended in embarrassment for others, will end in congratulations for you; joy is in your end; peace is in your end; prosperity is in your end; it will end in rising.
I decree, that it has ended in praise, and it has ended in your favour. Like David, don’t wait for your end to come by itself; call forth the end that you desire, and it will become your reality.
