SCRIPTURE READING: PSALM 23: 1-6

FOCUS: “He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.” (Psalm 23: 2)

MEMORY VERSE: “As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.” (Romans 4: 17)

In our Focal Scripture, David speaks about God as the One who makes him to lie down in green pastures. In bible times, every green pasture had to be created via irrigation. Green pastures had to be created. So, when David spoke about how God causes him to lie down in green pastures, he meant that he served a God who creates green pastures for him. David inferred that he served a God who could create what was missing for him.

Friend, you serve a God who causes what is not in existence to come into existence for your sake. You serve a God who is able to make new, non-existent opportunities to come into existence. You serve a God who is able to make your own green pasture for you. You serve a God who is able to make your pasture green even when there is a famine. You serve a God who is able to make new levels come into existence just for you.

I pray for you: may heaven bring forth your new season. May heaven cause your pasture to be green. May heaven cause your fields to yield increase. May heaven cause your harvest to be huge and beyond imagination. May heaven cause you to break forth on all sides. May the increase of the earth be your portion. May the heavens hear the earth, and may the earth hear your corn, and wine and oil. May your green pasture come forth already.

Because you were made in the image of a God who calls things that be not as though they were, you have what it takes to call forth your green pasture. Call forth what is missing in your life. Call forth the results you desire. Call forth the relationships you need. Call forth the breakthroughs you desire. Call forth the new doors and gates that need to be opened to you. If you desire it, call it forth. If you want to see it, call it forth.

If it is not in existence on earth, it can be created in alliance with heaven. Align with heaven and call forth your green pastures into existence.
