SCRIPTURE READING: ACTS 16: 16-39
FOCUS: “And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.” (Acts 16: 26)
MEMORY VERSE: “He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.” (Psalm 107: 14)
According to our Focal Scripture, when there was an earthquake following the prayers of Paul and Silas, all the doors were opened, and every chain that was put on the prisoners all fell off. Apart from locking the doors in the prison, arrangement was made to lock their hands and feet so that even if the doors were open, they would be unable to move. They were shackled so that they wouldn’t move, but the earthquake broke the shackles.
Friend, I pray for you: whatever is stopping you from moving forward, I command it to break by fire. Whatever arrangement of the enemy that is hindering your rising and advancement, I command it to scatter by fire. Whatever disposition in your mind that is stopping you from making progress, I command it to break by fire. Whatever idea the enemy has sold to you to stop you from moving and making progress, let it break by fire.
If only the doors opened but the shackles were not broken, no one would have been able to move. God did not only remove the hindrances that were positioned on the doors; He also removed the hindrances positioned on their hands and feet. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every hindrance the enemy has positioned on your hands and feet to stop you from rising, I command it to break by fire. I command every limitation on your destiny to be broken.
Jesus did not redeem you so that you can remain in chains. If indeed God has set you free, you are free indeed. If God has set you free, you have no more business with bondage. If God has set you free, the shackles that stopped you from moving in time past will no longer stop you. Any plan of the enemy to cause your eyes to see doors which your feet will perpetually be unable to step into, I command it to scatter by fire.
Welcome to that season where there will be no chains on your destiny. Welcome to that season where every shackle is broken.
