SCRIPTURE READING: PSALM 23: 1-6
FOCUS: “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” (Psalm 23: 5)
MEMORY VERSE: “For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?” (Isaiah 14: 27)
In our Focal Scripture, the psalmist said that the Lord prepares a table before him in the presence of his enemies. The Lord turned up, but not to make a speech; the Lord turned up to prepare a table before the psalmist in the presence of his enemies. It was that type of prepared table that the enemies could only watch but could not stop. It was that type of showing that the enemies could watch but could not hinder.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: El Roi is about to prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies. The enemies that have gathered against you are about the see the mighty deeds of El Roi in your life. The Lord is about to make His presence count in your life. The Lord is about to show you a token for good that will silence the enemies of your destiny. The Lord is about to make an open show that will shut up your adversaries.
Notice that the enemies only came to line up, but the Lord came to show off. The enemies came with their agenda, but the agenda of the Lord prevailed. Hear me as I hear the Lord: no matter the gathering of the enemies against you, only the agenda of the Lord will prevail. No matter how many adversaries that conspire against you, only the will of God will stand. No matter the enormity of your attackers, they can’t stop God’s plan for you.
When Jesus went to the cross, He won us victory over every power of the enemy. Nothing can harm you if you are under the shelter of the Lord. Nothing can tamper with the will of God for you if you insist on the fulfilment of the word of the Lord. No devil is devil enough to stop whatever God has started. Whatsoever the Lord has purposed to do for you, will not be stopped. Your table will be fully prepared, and your enemies will watch it.
Welcome to your new season of prepared tables. Welcome to that season where the Lord will prepare your tables in the presence of your enemies.
